Arts Scholarship

Open to Grade 12 students, the arts scholarship is awarded annually to support the artistic studies of future professionals. This scholarship is open to students who identify as Black, who are attending a Durham Region high school and who have been accepted to an arts program at a Canadian college or university. Eligible arts programs range from the performing arts to museum studies; literary, visual and media arts; to arts administration and curatorial practice, and beyond. Three individual awards of $1,000 each are granted by Cultural Expressions for CHANGE with sponsorship support.
