Board Treasurer

Sharon Croft joined the CEAG Board in September 2021 and is currently the board treasurer. Her passion for minority youth development is evident in her past Board experience. Sharon was a member of the Ajax Youth Centre’s Board in the past. Additionally, she played a significant role with an organization focused on empowering youth through the performing arts at The Hopeworks Connection (HWC.) For several years Sharon served as the Board Secretary for HWC. Through that organization, she graduated from World Vision Canada’s FreeForm Board governance program.

Professionally, Sharon has several years of management experience and is currently the National Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for a global corporation specializing in government administration.

She holds a BComm in Human Resources from TMU (formerly Ryerson University) and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Cumbria in the UK. Sharon also obtained a Diversity and Inclusion certification from Cornell University and has completed formal training with the Ontario Human Rights Commission - Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA.)

Sharon resides in Pickering and is married to her husband, Ian. They have two adult children and enjoy traveling, music, and the arts.
